L'amour rebelle explores sexuality and conflict by reimagining Georges Bizet’s classic opera Carmen. It premiered with a live performance and animated projections in Los Angeles on 29 March 2022.

L’amour rebelle is the First-Ever Opera NFT to be performed live, premiered at NFTLA on March 29th 2022. This limited collection will commemorate the non-fungible moment of the live performance. The work re-imagines Bizet’s Carmen in an arrangement by Zachary Whitney, performed by Merav Eldan. The music was developed along with a charcoal animation by Leo Crane, featuring model Roy Joseph Butler. Here is Part One of the piece (studio recording) minted as Origins #4, Part two will be minted soon as Origins #6.
This collection will be released on a rolling basis, once an NFT is collected we'll release the next one. We're starting with L'amour rebelle The Vinyl - only 5 editions will ever exist. Then 4 original 1/1 concept drawings, and lastly The Time Capsule.
