In 1974, the Arecibo message was broadcast into the cosmos. Frank Drake (of Drake Equation fame) designed the message with the help of Carl Sagan & a few others.
The message is composed of 1,679 bytes compose into 23 columns and 73 rows. Encoded in binary, this message contains information about humans and Earth. The message was sent from the Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico.
Now, it's time edit the Arecibo message and send a new transmission.
To introduce our extraterrestrials friends to Opepen and help them opt-in to a set. The humanoid figure has been updated with different variations of Opepen; about half pay homage to all Opepen sets released thus far.
I updated the human population section for this collection as well (it stands at approximately 8.1 billion as of this writing).
