I wanted to include an image from the trip that inspired my photography journey. I was sent to Alaska in June of 2013 for work on Kodiak Island (the second largest island in the US). I bought myself a nice camera to take with me and as a result, got some great images to bring home. This image captures a fishing vessel leaving Kodiak harbor, and as fishing is cornerstone to the economy of this island, I thought this a fitting image of the trip.
