The Cosmos Amurense is a common, tall plant and can be found in any cold region. It blooms in early summer. It has large, heart shaped leaves, which are usually olive-green. It also grows large flowers, which can be light red, blue and light yellow. These plants grow in large groups, but it's hard to control and maintain their growth. They can be dried and used in cooking. As a defense mechanism the Cosmos Amurense mimics the overall look of a different, poisonous plant. They rely on water currents to carry their seeds away to reproduce. Once pollinated, they grow fairly large, delicious fruits.
