The Catalpa Hyoseroides is an uncommon, tall plant and can be found only deep within swamps. It blooms in late winter. It has large, wedge shaped leaves, which are usually pine green. It also grows tiny flowers, which can be bronze, light silver and dark purple. These plants grow in huge numbers, but it's fairly simple to control and maintain their growth. They can be used as medicine. As a defense mechanism the Catalpa Hyoseroides mimics the overall look of a different, poisonous plant. They rely on wind pollination to reproduce. Once pollinated, they grow fairly large, delicious fruits.
