“Deliverance” is a photograph taken during the making of “Oceans Apart,” a short dance film by filmmaker Audrey Billups (pictured).

Audrey retrieved discarded/lost fishing nets swept onto the shores of Maui and created this hand-sewn garment that took 100 hours to gather, design and meticulously complete.

Underwater photographer Kelly Hsiao, captured these images during the making of the film, to be premiered in the spring/summer 2022 on Maui.

A portion of proceeds will support local fishing net extraction and hard to reach coast cleanups in Hawaii.
