Mary was a patient of our hospital and the reason was joyful - she was expecting her first child. Mary and her husband were counting the days until the birth of a baby, but one day cholera came to the city. First, the husband fell ill, then Mary herself became ill - premature birth began, but both mother and child died.
Now Mary sometimes comes to the old hospital, because here she was supposed to experience the happiness of motherhood and hear the first cry of her baby.
