Actually that was a silent and deep revolution against their Gods and society. They were feeling very individual/pure human up to their bones. In spite of knowing being mortals, they were still living as if they were immortals. To feel the deep passion and joy of figuring out themselves and the nature, they were forcing their imagination. They were trying to be whatever they could be. The eggs were trying to be chicken.
