I went to LA around March 2022 for the first time after wanting to go forever. This was at one of my first ever live, in-person studio sessions so it was a pretty crazy and nerve-wracking experience. apob asked me what I wanted to do and all I had was this idea of a funky bass line so we built the whole song up from there and everything flowed so easily and came out so perfectly. We continued adding on layers of different instruments and different melodies to get to how the song is now as well as lyrics and vocals. It was a very interesting experience finally being able to work with somebody other than just me in my bedroom and it taught me a lot about opening my mind and exploring new ideas and things which really played in a lot with the meaning of the song just looking into the future. It was so great to see and work with like-minded individuals and someone as talented as apob. It gave me this new sense of wonder and new perspective on what I can do. As an independent artist, I’ve always looked to find ways to support and fund my creativity without having to sign to a label. I’ve been lucky to get some early traction on Spotify and stuff which isn’t really something I had ever planned for but from that came the labels asking me to sign. Before web3 I didn’t think there was another way I could bring my visions to life without the stability a label can provide. Platforms like sound are giving artists like me a chance to fund our art, empower the fans and create a community of people with the same ethos that artists deserve better.

It's an uplifting song about learning to forgive and forget the past in order to continue on to the future and that whole moment of realization. It's about letting go of everything and not holding onto negativity and things that you cannot change. Succumbing to that realization in order to continue on in life.
