I think as I get older and begin to understand my past more and more I don't necessarily harbor regret for it but I view it in a completely different way now that could never return to how it once was. Adult perspective is incredibly nice for the clarity but a lot of the intricacies and complexities of the experiences I have had really shattered a lot memories in ways that cannot be repaired. They can be transmuted into something else, but they can never be the same. So go ahead, look back, but beware of the dangers that may come with it as well.
Character Text: I think my brain just birth amalgamations of random animals and creatures until they take on a life for themselves and guide me on how to make them feel content with their appearance. It's really sad to disappoint your imaginary friends so I really put a lot of care and effort into making them feel alive and comfortable with their existence. I also love silly noses in general, not sure what that says about me as a person but long noses are really fun to draw and have always interested me. One of my first ever characters was a spiky ball with a long nose called a "Snub" and I guess it just stuck ever since. I really like the characters I create but I've never really reused most of them because of the volume at which the spawn in my head and feel like a passing moment that I'm capturing. The creation of these characters is actually serendipitous at a base level because the odds of them being fully finished as an idea are pretty slim so I'm grateful for every friend that's been fully formed, and I'd like to think that they are too.
