I love the stillness of the early morning. The sweet smell of plumerias and salty air. Just me and the moon, slowly setting, cascading light on the ocean. It is as if I re-entered the dream world. Engulfed with feelings of beauty and gratitude to be in the moment. Without even taking a picture, I am already happy that I woke up to witness this.
The feeling of moonlight.
Subtle
Freeing of thoughts.
Lightness
Remembering the moment.
Gratitude
Falling into you.
Love
This edition is exclusively for holders of my genesis photography collection "Follow Your Daydreams" which minted August 2021.
“CREATING SPACE” is an experimental film photography collection of moonscapes & poetry. The 13 images were shot on 35mm film and created by exposing multiple moments onto one frame of film. Creating in-camera double exposures have been one of my favorite things to try when shooting a roll of film because you never really know how or if the final image will turn out. Through years of experimenting, countless failures, luck, and trust of the mixing of two scenes, this collection is the result of 18 months double exposing the moon and landscape onto a single frame of film.
