The Story 13 years on 1/21/2009 in San Francisco died for three and a half minutes from a traumatic brain injury. At least that is what they tell me. On the way to the hospital, I flatlined and they brought me back.
Back then I was deep in my addiction, ripping and running and selling anything that made me a buck, not caring about anybody else for myself My roommates at the time were the same , came into my room on false prentices struck me with a hammer & robbed me of all my drugs money gun & left me to die after a 12-day coma Woke with the right side of my body paralyzed.
I had to learn to speak, spell even and walk again. Unfortunately, my right-hand did never come back. It’s still mostly useless, except for holding things and using one finger to hold down keyboard shortcuts on Photoshop.
I was already an artist/photographer, and they still did not stop me know I am just a one handed/left-handed photographer/ #NFTartist
13 years later I've been sober 8 years, got my AA in addiction studies, I'm an addiction counselor IRL. Looking back, I cannot believe how much my life has changed, and how grateful I am to still be creative and be able to do art in photography every single day and to be a NFT artist
