The white orca, also known as the "ghost" orca, is an exceptionally rare phenomenon in the wild. These orcas exhibit a condition called leucism, which is a partial loss of pigmentation resulting in white or light-colored skin. Unlike albinism, which is a complete lack of melanin, animals with leucism still have normal eye color.
