Still Life compositions have been a popular subject in the art world for centuries and can be explored through various artistic mediums. With this in mind, I used AI to create a baroque-inspired still life and converted it into a coloured polaroid frame. I then used the same frame for my emulsion lift process, lifting the pear still life onto a pear fruit base.

This unique process links AI and nature together, with the frame transferring onto the pear and changing as it decays over time. This gives the artwork a continuously evolving meaning to explore. Using one AI frame, I can get various results that can be observed through TIME.

The mediums used for this artwork include AI for the primary image, polaroid photograph, pear fruit, Procreate for editing and Adobe Photoshop to create the GIF for the 3 stages of decay.
