To me Thuy-Tien Vo and Benoit Couty are art angels! I see the work they are doing for MOCA, Museum of Crypto Art, and it’s really incredible. Find them on Twitter: https://twitter.com/ThuyTienvC and https://twitter.com/BnoiitC
Here’s a great quote from Benoit, founder of MOCA:
“I started collecting NFT art early in 2019. I felt it was the birth of a movement that would be important in the history of the arts. Since then many different artists from different backgrounds started using NFTs but not all of them with the crypto art energy. My choices and activities are aiming to explain and promote crypto art and crypto culture as an art movement that should be recognized and documented.
I focused on core crypto art along 3 lines: computer/human dialogue; Dada/punk impertinence; doom/renaissance symbolic. I have approximately 800 artworks on Ethereum and Tezos and exhibited them in multiple locations in the metaverse as well as in popup IRL galleries.” -https://medium.com/ogdotart/try-not-to-focus-on-buzz-ee4ac159f62c
Like I have proclaimed many times, the French are in my opinion far advanced in catching crypto art trends before anyone else. I believe MOCA (https://linktr.ee/MuseumCryptoArt) was the first crypto art museum to be created. It was established in the metaverse in 2018. I like to refer to it as French MOCA to distinguish it from the other M○C△, which was created later in 2020.
MOCA was the first museum as far as I know to have a Trash Art Exhibition which took place in Paris, France at Avant Galerie Vossen in 2022: https://avant-galerie.com/en/trashart-nft-garbology
The artworks referenced in my painting are all owned by MOCA:

MOCA has an entire trashart genre already created in one of its virtual galleries which is rare because most galleries haven’t even realized that trashart is a genre.
Stellabelle is an artist, writer, metaverse architect and founder of Slothicorn, one of the first creative commons cryptoartist collectives in 2017. Current project: CryptoStellas The lethal combination of greed and mediocrity in the NFT world has given birth to CryptoStellas, the alpha PFP project of 2021 by brilliant OG cryptoartist Stellabelle. Each CryptoStella is hand-painted and there will only ever be 777 of them. Ownership of a CryptoStella instantly grants you access to an exclusive club of sublime souls. All art is backed up on Arweave, the permanent web. CryptoStellas is a CC0 public domain NFT project. “You deserve the best PFP, the very best PFP, because you are one of the few people in this lousy world who are honest to themselves, and that is the only thing that really counts in the world of PFPs.” CryptoStella
