The eagle owl is one of the largest owls in the world. Not to be confused with other owl species due to its large size. Thanks to its great adaptability, the eagle-owl occurs in very diverse habitats. You can find them in boreal coniferous forest, Mediterranean scrubland, forest and grass steppes, hills and mid-mountains, near open lakes and even seacoasts. They also occur locally in human (urban) environments. The habitat must provide sufficient food in summer and winter. And water for drinking and bathing. Furthermore, there must be suitable nesting sites with clear approach routes.

For the Lighten up after the dark animals collection I have up lighted the nature photos, giving them a different twist. They light up from the dark. A beautiful effect.
