The photo on the cover is a special image I took on a very early morning in The Netherlands. It symbolizes what my photography is about: Being out there in nature, preferably without anyone else on a quiet morning. This is when my creativity is at it’s best. It perfectly aligns what Deepak’s first ‘Law of Success’ is: the Law of Pure Potentiality. This law is about being in nature, witnessing every little thing. It’s what I do daily. I don't particularly meditate consciously, but for me being out there in nature before the sun even rises, is pure meditation. With my camera in hand, listening to nature waking up and capturing those feelings in a photograph. During this particular morning fog covered the ground, and the full moon was setting. I let the moment happen while this scene presented itself in front of my eyes. It was captured with a long telephoto lens (that’s why the moon looks big), just when it was about to set into the fog. The separation between the trees because of the fog was so extremely beautiful. It was a moment that I will always remember. As for almost all my photos actually: They are memories from my interactions with nature. This photo is about showing me what pure potentiality really is. The final touch is the moon, which also has a big meaning in the spiritual world. Moon cycles define life, but also often define practical choices in my photography. I go out on purpose to capture it. It’s really something special.

I feel blessed to be a photographer and being able to show nature and the world to people in such a beautiful way. Most people will be asleep when I take my most beautiful photos. And in these moments, I relate to lots of Deepak’s lessons. About nature, medication and consciousness.
