Artist: Yulia Denisyuk
Edition: 6/6
Collection: Ticket To The World
About the image: One of the things that excites me about capturing architecture is the opportunity to have the perfect alignment of lines and perspectives. Our world is chaotic, messy, and imperfect – but in architectural structures, we can sometimes find solace. I call it the geometry of bliss. I found that bliss looking down East Monroe Street one gray November afternoon in the city. I love capturing everyday moments like this where people are going about their business while I, the photographer, observe and pay attention to things that may have otherwise slipped away forever.
Location: Chicago
Year: 2015
Image specs: 2695 x 1797
