I created this image some time ago after I had just finished doing a week-long trip around the Canadian Rockies. I have shot this location several times and have always imagined what it would look like with a giant mountain off in the distance. Using a lot of my creative vision and techniques I made this final image from a vision I had long ago. It was an extremely cold morning when I shot the raw files and elements to help me create this vision. I would say around -35 and I was surprised the lake was not completely frozen. I hope this image can portray a sense of the cold wintery morning as well as the size of the giant ancient mountain in the background.
