On a cold December day in 2021, I set off towards the Alps to photograph the spectacle of winter in its full glory. I chose for my little adventure the lake Hintersee in Berchtesgaden, Bavaria. Once there, I found that the mountains were completely covered by clouds. It was snowing relentlessly, hour after hour the snowflakes were getting bigger and bigger. Although no mountains were to be seen, the combination of trees, the calm water, as well as the snowflakes conjured a unique winter landscape, which one knows actually only from fairy tales.

This NFT is part of Reflections by Concurrence Collective – a fine art landscape photography collection dedicated to reflections found in nature. With this collection, we have returned with our shared passion for capturing the natural beauty of the world.
