Early mornings I would head to the shore in hopes of finding a dramatic sunrise. Unfortunately, that is often not the case, but it’s an opportunity to get creative. This morning some kids were skipping stones and I thought about trying to do the same for an image. I’m always trying to find something unique to capture.

I got very lucky as I threw my stone with my right hand and somehow pressed my camera to my face with my left. I was able to capture a bird crossing paths with the water ripples. After that I tried to capture a similar image but I was never again successful.

This NFT is part of Reflections by Concurrence Collective – a fine art landscape photography collection dedicated to reflections found in nature. With this collection, we have returned with our shared passion for capturing the natural beauty of the world. Reflections follows on from our debut project Frozen Planet, the first-ever photography collective on Sloika.

Reflections is our second collection and follows on from our debut, Frozen Planet – the first-ever photography collective project released on Sloika.

When Frozen Planet sold out within a few hours, we thought about what we could do differently. We all agreed we wanted to go bigger! We reached out to the landscape photography community with an open call to submit work then followed up with a lengthy curation process. We are excited to be able to bring more artists into the collective – growing from 24 to 30.
