As i looked out the window, bus after bus passed by, but then this one stopped and I saw the boy. I focused the lens, worried the bus would move before I could compose the shot, and then, in the moment that I clicked the shutter, the red Isuzu Trooper pulled up tight behind the bus and filled the frame.
This image was a turning point for me, a candid moment that came together in a way that nobody could predict or replicate. It convinced me of the magic of photographing in the street. The endless chance to accidentally create something sublime.
