A collection of 17 photos, which have high levels of image noise captured on the day I lost control of my camera settings.

On the 17th of July, 2017, there was heavy rain in Havana, Cuba. Unfortunately, my camera was badly affected by the rain. Almost all buttons were not working except the shutter button. I was not able to change settings such as exposure, ISO, etc. I couldn’t even see the previews of the photos I took. Against all odds, I continued taking photos. Although my camera was broken, I was lucky to capture good, memorable, and unique candid photos under these terrible conditions. At the end of the day, the shutter button, my only friend, also stopped working. At that moment, I realized that this chapter of my life in Cuba has ended.

When I checked the photos I took, I saw that they all had high levels of image noise. I tried to fix them by applying noise reduction. None of these photos have been minted before, the collection will never grow beyond the initial 17.
