I have concluded my journey and have finally found a simple seat of rest. My life is now lived within the caressing, cupping branches of a tree. In this way, I am very much like a compliant bird. I remember leaving the dependable ground a long, long time ago. I found this tree, you see? It had reached upwards from the discarded heap of my unwieldy baggage and wreckage of my old, abandoned legs. With my new, subtle form I clambered up the tower of things that I no longer needed. I left the work of sewing behind and with it the maintenance of those outer garments that had so defined my offering to the world. All that's left is my honest, authentic self - there is no public, nor private, no 'I' or 'me'. From now on, all that I am is what abides in a tree. It was always to be the full stop at the end of a sentence, an exclamation mark turned upside down.
