There is something fascinating about the infrastructure and industry that supports a city center. Follow any city’s river down (or sometimes up) stream, and you will find vast fields of tanks, pipes and pumps that make a city run. This building sits just a few miles south of Cleveland, nestled between piles of coal and a large rail yard. It is a product of its purpose, seeming to have been added to over the years with a patchwork of additions. In the abstract, the image becomes the interplay of two systems.
