Poddio Verticale is a transformation of an open building into a vertical podium for a fashion runway show with a ramp looping around its semi-transparent marble skin, and slabs hooked up to the ramp. Its material touches, precise sharp geometry, the main scheme as a patio, and solid-void proportions give the impression that an abstract Milanese edifice has been exported to the metaverse.

The ramp allows the audience to see the wearables in 4D during the fashion show and defines the spaces it is attached to. These slabs can operate as both the observation deck for the catwalk as well as the pausing places of an open, voluminous, bright, and flexible architecture that enables a variety of functions, including office, gallery, or leisure. The layout, rationalized with abstract glass-like columns and sculpted under transparent marble as a patio, has seating areas on the ground floor that can host a gathering as well as the fashion show's final walk destination, and a small area in the back that can be used as a cloakroom, retail space, or a tiny aperitivo room.
