"No doubt we've all experienced a digital miscommunication . . . An almost unavoidable error in understanding due to the lack of emotional emphasis in online text. Although emojis might attempt to feel this emotional void, this work focuses on the limitations of digital communication in expressing emotion. It's always fun adding a visual element in digital dialogue, especially if it amusingly aids understanding. Yet until online communication can encompass all the emotional complexities of our analogue world, the tone of text guessing game will continue. #donttakethisthewrongway #notmyforte"
