Cancers are a compassionate, and nurturing zodiac sign. During Cancer season it might be common to be perceived as a time of extreme dwelling with yourself and what surrounds, and makes you, you. This feeling is due to the fact of molting that hard shell we all carry in order to protect ourselves on our day to day.

Cancer season is the perfect time to let go of that old exoskeleton, and grow a newer one filled with vast knowledge and more self-love, love that leaks to those around us.

Cancers help us understand that it’s okay to be tough to penetrate, but also teaches us that we must be vulnerable from time to time in order to become stronger and constantly evolve in an ever changing ecosystem.

Being a cancer to me has been very well received in my being, as I enjoy taking care of living and non-living things in order to be fulfilled and open to learn new ways to care for what is really of importance to us and the common good.

Just like the crab depiction of this zodiac, these aquatic arthropods share a lot of qualities with the zodiac sign in it’s “modus operandi”. This is because, although prehistoric in design, their: longevity, ever changing nature, innate inventiveness, compulsive attentiveness, outside of the box thinking, creativeness and openness lead them to new experiences that enrich the mind. This makes them the most diverse and compatible with different terrains of people.

Cancers are tough even when situations might feel as if a limb was cut off, and surprisingly, also be able to brush it off as to not upset loved ones or show weakness to lurking predators.

They are very reserved and timid naturally, but will let go of that in a second, becoming very protective fighters at heart, if what they love is under threat of being hurt. Being very perceptive, they can spot danger from miles away, and this might be taken as an avoidant behavior to some that lack their enhanced senses.

Most importantly, their biological compass will always guide them in the right path, even when they tend to walk sideways.
