Sputnik 1 postal stamp is the first of the Space Exploration Collection and is a tribute to the beginning of the Space Age.

This was the world's first artificial satellite, weighing 83 kg (183 lbs). It was launched on October 4, 1957 by the Soviet Union.

In order to properly celebrate Sputnik 1, this NFT postal stamp was launched on the Ethereum blockchain at the exact time of the launching of SpaceX Falcon9 rocket (April 7 20201, 16:34 GMT) from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida. SpaceX Falcon9’s mission is to launch the 24th batch of approximately 60 satellites for SpaceX’s Starlink broadband network.

The number of copies - 98 - is the number of minutes the Sputnik 1 satellite orbited the Earth (98.1 minutes). Sky is not the limit!
