LoFI DeFi Deep Neural Homies

Deep Neural Homies is a collection of digital art NFTs released alongside (and interacting with) Canok's LoFi DeFi EP.

Each song of the album was inspired by an important DeFi persona (a homie), including excerpts of their voices and shaping the mood of the song accordingly.

The "Deep Neural" part comes from how these NFTs were designed: by using two sets of deep neural networks.

The first machine learning model takes in the portrait and performs a style transfer against classical/abstract paintings. Then, a new model is in charge of animating their facial features and expressions.

Each NFT unlocks different licensing rights and sets of additional content regarding the LoFi DeFi EP depending on their tier (Standard, Gold and Shiny), from commercial use and sync licenses to lossless songs, stems and project files.

Machine-assisted creation is a growing trend both on visual arts and music. Bringing that to NFTs and Blockchain as a whole is the main idea behind this limited collection.

OGLP Hayden Adams

You all know him as many names. The Unicorn Bender, The Liquidity Surfer, Order Book Burner or simply as the genius behind Uniswap.

Hayden's explanation of his protocol really fit in with the liquid lo-fi beat he helped bring to life. OGLP was actually the first song of the EP, so naturally this is also the first NFT to be minted.

The neural nets didn't go easy on deforming Hayden's original portrait, so creepiness factor is definitely cranked up there. I particularly love it.
