A digital multimedia collaboration by creatives Salvador Satoshi and Wessel blending real and unreal, chaos and order, into a new vibe in this new world.

Each individual creator is controlling their own little realm of RAM, fields and fields filled with these digital reapers. The realms of reapers stand ready to supply a determined march into any digital world or frontier. Be sure to keep this reaper close so as to preserve the use of your RAM.

Wessel

We are slaves to the gods of computation. Ones and zeroes when we are the definition of in-between. Working within the rules to break them we find ourselves sliding back and forth skating a fine edge, fitting what we can into the buckets offered us, and hoping what spills over is understood. Probably the best part is what spills over, if you’re paying attention.

Salvador Satoshi

As a method, Chaotic Patterning is the technique of taking a simple item and then using it over and over again in replicated patterns with small twists and alterations so as to give it more beauty, depth, and character. The intention is to create a sense of wonder at the possibilities of replicated patterns, whether they be in art or behavior.

Each of these pieces began as an abstract work of art on canvas. Once digitized, these images have then been twisted, mirrored, and animated, until the patterns you now see emerged. Within each one waits a world of Beauty, Depth, and Complexity. It is our hope that you enjoy them.

Wessel

Abstract painting for me is the exportation of thoughts, feeling, moods, hopes, dreams, nightmares, whatever is in the moment, onto a canvas. I try not to hold back and flow through the movements the way they were meant to be, in flow.

Light, dark, lines, scrapes, splashes, flicks, flecks, and everything in between, before, and after. Understanding comes in the future, during is when the feeling happens, and the past is what it was.

This collaboration takes and blends all of that and throws all that understanding and feeling into a new matrix for reinterpretation, exportation and enjoyment.
