The “Let Me See that Code” NFT artwork showcases Juicy J’s early support for blockchain technology.
Back in February 2019 deep into crypto winter, Juicy J dropped the tech industry themed music video “Let Me See” where Juicy J, Kevin Gates, and Lil Skies all play competing tech founders.
While the crypto market was bearish, Juicy saw the potential of blockchain technology and snuck in some crypto references into the video to show his support for all the DeFi degens and trappers. He invited Everipedia (IQ) President and Co-Founder Sam Kazemian to be in the music video and write out code from the IQ token’s smart contracts on a chalkboard as part of the music video. A still photograph taken from this trailblazing music video was animated and overlaid with the code to create this piece.
“Let Me See that Code” is limited to 84 editions as part of the 420 piece “Juicy J’s Journey” collection. 10 “Juicy J’s Journey” NFT holders will be given the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to smoke ASTERISK* cannabis with Juicy J, the trippiest man alive, in July. The still photo used to create this piece was taken by Edgar Allen while the original “Let Me See” music video was produced by the creative agency VOTO. The NFT was animated by ThunderCode and contains an instrumental loop from the song “Frog Juice” produced by Juicy J and Nabeyin.

Juicy J and ASTERISK* have collaborated with Everipedia (IQ) to launch Juicy J’s Journey, a limited collection of NFTs to celebrate the launch of Juicy J’s latest album The Hustle Still Continues. The collection uses blockchain technology, digital artwork, scenes from Juicy’s music videos, metadata, and instrumentals to tell Juicy J’s story as a hip hop icon, cryptocurrency supporter, and cannabis entrepreneur. The pieces also commemorate Eternal Impact, the latest drop from ASTERISK*, an innovative cannabis brand founded by Juicy J and Gary Vee through his cannabis industry marketing agency Green Street.
Juicy J, ASTERISK*, and Everipedia joined forces to create Juicy J’s Journey, a collection of 5 NFT artworks with each piece limited to 84 editions for a total of only 420 pieces. All 5 NFT artworks contain beats co-produced by Juicy J and fans using his drum and loop kit. The collection also contains references to cryptocurrency and the IQ token. Juicy J has been an early supporter of blockchain technology.
