Persian carpets and rugs are usually an abstract of Heaven. Various types of them were woven in parallel by nomadic tribes, in village and town workshops, and by royal court manufactories alike. As such, they represent miscellaneous, simultaneous lines of tradition, and reflect the history of Iran and its various people Who are sadly losing their diversity faster than ever. Creating these artworks is a result of choosing to remain diverse and promote diversity.
Eden is a collaboration on one of my photos with Miran, a multi medium artist who has designed the rug. I shot the original photo of the Deer on 2017, when it walked below my balcony.
