AI-Tree is an NFT project based on the concept of generative art also developed through artificial intelligence.

All minted works are the result of a creative process that originates from a single source image derived from a picture, I personally took during my last trip to Walakiri Beach on Sumba Island in Indonesia.

The goal of the project is to support, with part of the income, associations for the reforestation of areas affected by natural disasters.

Project numbers:

Duration: the project will have a development of 100 weeks to symbolize the slow process of reforestation, especially when it happens without human help;

Works: each week 1 artwork will be minted as a series with 10 editions in it;

Price: the reserve price for each artwork will be fixed at $15 and it will change according to the rules placed in the end-notes*;

Donations: 10% of the income will be donated, on a semi-annual basis, to non-profits associations dedicated to reforestation.

Project Phases:

• Each Sunday the dominant color, that will be applied to the source image, will be randomly chosen from those of the CMYK colour space (1:Magenta - 2:Cyan - 3:Yellow - black excluded);

• Every Wednesday the created artwork will be minted;

• At the end of the project, after the 100th week, an additional artwork consisting of all the works in the project as well as two unpublished works will be minted.

Motivations for the project:

I am a nature lover, i love open spaces and unspoiled places. I find peace and inspiration in the beauty of natural landscapes and exploring trails and forests. I am deeply concerned about the preservation of the environment and am constantly looking for ways to help preserve it. My connection with nature guides me in choosing a sustainable lifestyle and motivates me to spread awareness about the importance of protecting our planet for future generations.

The practice of reforestation is critical to restoring and protecting ecosystems, improving air quality, combating climate change, and providing habitat for wildlife.

End-notes:

*The initial reserve price will be increased by $1, starting the following week, only when the sale of all specimens from one of the weeks already posted is completed.

(Example: if before the fifth week's work is mined all specimens from one of the previous weeks have been sold, the reserve price will be $16.)

The collection ‘AI-Tree - White Edition‘ consists in 100 images:

• 100 x portrait format - 3.000 x 4.000 px
• 1 x unknown format created with the 100 images of the collection and 2 unpublished images
