Kidoumaru 鬼童丸:
Kidōmaru legend: He is the son and one of the members of the Shuten dōji clan. He is known for his attempts at revenge against the samurai who defeated his father.
Kidōmaru's was born after the legendary samurai Minamoto no Yorimitsu (also known as Raikō) and his group of heroes defeated Shuten dōji and freed all the women captured by his oni demon gang.
The women thanked the samurai warriors for saving them and returned home. One of the women did not, however, because she went to the village of Kumohara, where she gave birth to the son of the oni Shuten dōji!
The Night Parade of the 100 Demons.
In Japan, many legends speak of yokai parades in the streets of cities, called Hyakki Yagyo (百鬼夜行 – The Night Parade of the 100 Demons). This event usually takes place during the hot summer nights and during the obon season (お盆), a time of year when spirits visit the world of the living.
