The Cook Islands is an island country in the South Pacific Ocean, consisting of 15 small islands spread across an area of about 2.2 million square kilometers. The islands are divided into two groups: the Southern Cook Islands, which include Aitutaki, and the Northern Cook Islands. The archipelago is located about halfway between New Zealand and Hawaii, and is a self-governing territory in free association with New Zealand. Aitutaki is known for its stunning beaches, crystal-clear waters, and lush tropical landscape which was a place I had on my bucket-list for a long time. No doubt that when I would visit, my drone would come with me! This beach definitely caught my eye. The contrast of the water, the white sand and palm tree's were amazing. The person on the beach gives it also a nice sense of scale.
