This story started with the words of Alan Watts about Counterpoise "If you awaken from this illusion, and you understand that black implies white, self implies other, life implies death — or shall I say, death implies life — you can conceive yourself.
I picked "Sine qua non", as a title to describe it, "Sine qua non" is Latin for “without which not.” When something is described as sine qua non it means more or less "Without (something), (something else) won't be possible."
This artwork led me through the story of a girl trapped in her own illusion that she tries to run away from in order to start a new beginning. Trapped implies freedom, trapped in a labyrinth of feelings and illusions, locked in her own maze created by the illusion of her dreams, fight implies fleeing, in implies out, black implies white...
