One thing I discovered about the desert is that, despite the apparent lack of elements aside from sand, it can teach you more than any other environment. I’ve never been a person that believes in symbols, but when I stumbled upon this scene after a long camel hike under the scorching sun, I couldn’t help but think about the amount of strength and willpower that this tree, and naturally all the inhabitants of such a harsh land, must possess.
Since then, this photo has been a reminder that no matter what the circumstances are, if you really want something, you will do the unthinkable to obtain it.
