Nori was one of my favorite housemates during college, a photography student with a wild personality and a unique affinity for trash. Her work celebrates destruction, although she is a strong advocate for sustainability. I was always inspired by her willingness to destroy and distort her work, experimenting in as many ways as she could. This was actually one of the first portraits I ever took on FP100c. I reclaimed it using bleach. My process wasn't perfect and some of the bleach leached into the negative and burned the image, creating unique colors and artifacts.
