Starting with the Eden theme as a foundation, I aimed to explore iconic natural forms such as Shells, Birds, and Flowers using an entirely generative approach. As I developed the artwork, a unique technique emerged, emulating the appearance of time-worn fresco surfaces. The intriguing idea of reimagining this ancient medium through purely generative methods excited me. Despite the organic qualities in this work, all elements were constructed from concentric circles, a nod to Euclid and the ancient Greeks who utilized compasses and frescoes in their art and storytelling.

Art for me is most exciting when it fuses disparate visual languages, references, and concepts that typically exist in separate realms, giving rise to something entirely novel. I hope something of ancient fresco and geometry is visible in this work expressed in the vibrant calculus of an algorithmic approach. I feel fashion also aims to birth new synergies and so it makes perfect sense to me that Gucci would be interested in exploring the potential of generative art to bring new magic to old themes.
