Inspired by the work of the contemporary painter Alan Macdonald, and his quest to free the inner child, Claudiu takes the portraits the serious self would have taken and adds some out-of-place, sometimes even kitsch elements. These images are meant to make one feel free(er) and younger�to bring playfulness and childhood joy into the life of the adult.
