Healing from loss in the garden-
Going into nature to commune with loves lost.
Planting shades of flowers that bloom into the colors of a loved ones soul, smile, and laugh. Taking time in the garden to nourish the soul and comfort the aching heart.
No, the grieving will never end from heavy loss.
But laying a seed to sleep in the soil can relieve the weight if only a little. Its enough to be able to breathe again. Tending and building compost can be a gentle reminder that beautiful things grow from decay.
Life can and will go on.
Things from the past aren’t ever really gone. Only transformed, their energy blooming into something ethereal, unknown, and new.
The snow may fall heavy come winter,
killing away all signs of life…
But have faith that come spring, the grass will grow green again…
Flowers will bloom, and birds will sing…
And life will be warm again.

A collection of nature photographs taken in my back yard garden with Canon T3 & Canon 80D. Both gardening and photography are forms of therapy for me & bring me a sense of peace, & allows for me to escape the chaos of life and enjoy a calm moment to reflect and center myself. I hope that in experiencing my work the viewer is given a sense of meditative calm or happiness. And allows for the viewer to feel a little bit more connected to nature and themselves, or inspired to grow their own garden.
