On this edition with David, I wanted to create a visual experience with a surfer feeling isolated, thinking about paddling out. That special moment where someone has to prepare for a major wave. I thought about how the music would sound. I added some wind and waves effects, along with a musical track that had some bounce to it. Motivational type sound. This isolated Surfer standing alone in front of the ocean was speaking to me. I knew I had to sonically bring a sound that the world would feel, could drive, ride, or surf too. This moment, of motivation added to a perfectly captured image by Mr. Fairs. There's something about his aerial footage that stands the test of time. It's magical. This one is special to me.
