• Community distractions
• But sometimes we should take a step back
• And remember the big trends need perspective

• And while in web3 we still call it a bear
• The macro
• Is anything but
• Equities are strong, technology stocks (NASDAQ) up 37% year to date

Technology equities increase in log scale

• Going back to 1980s ... NASDAQ 100
• Trends higher in log scale, at a consistent compounding rate
• Makes sense, technology improves our lives and the companies that create the technology go up over time

Bitcoin is Technology

• Price increases in log scale
• Albeit, it has decelerated from early days growth (2012-2017)

And so today ... as yuga assets sell off hard

• & most art has few bids, and NFT activity is weak in general
• We need to not be overly distracted by what we see on the periphery
• Take a step back, and make sure to have an eye on the prize
