This is the artwork I created for the FWB x OpenSea collaboration. It will be displayed in real life at FWB Fest in ldyllwild, California, and also on the OpenSea homepage at the same time. A crossover from real life to Web3. The iconic FWB bird logo inspired me to create these anthropomorphic Phoenix-like characters.
Ayaka Ohira is an artist and animator based in Tokyo, Japan. She has made a living as an independent animator, creating and directing music videos for some of Japan’s biggest musical acts. Originally self-taught, Ayaka went on to study under legendary animators like Yoji Kuri and Manabu Ohashi. She is the lead artist and director of Shinsei Galverse.
