With the beginnings of Scorpio Season; the zodiac sign of deep transformation, metaphorical death and surrender, recent Solar Eclipse, and Samhain; I wanted to create a special, short, limited edition series inspired by these events, including the Scorpio archetype and what it represents to me; the fallen angel.
I have partnered with local photographers: Elm Photography in Ottawa, ON Canada to bring my fallen angel energy to life, fully embracing my darkness as the main subject in these photographs. This is my first photography short series on the blockchain and wanted celebrate this milestone with y'all, along with supporting my photographers, and this beautiful and transformative cycle of the year.
Lilith is our dark energy, our black moon. In astrological terms, she is considered an asteroid who lives in the shadows.
She was described as a dangerous, dark, female demon, who was wild, unpredictable, full of wisdom, ideas, and for many at the time, was considered unconventional.
She desired to be freed from the confinements of society, very much feared but also very much desired. She refused to be repressed, in feeling smaller, less powerful and less radiant.
We are beings that have both light and dark energies, yin and yang, and the importance of integrating both is of utmost importance, as we find our most profound, deepest and strongest motivations within our darkness.
Embracing our inner wild dark Lilith is essential on one's path of becoming whole.
This is me, embracing my dark feminine energy, my inner Lilith.
