This project integrates my different art making methods: code art/generative art, drawing, painting, 3D, etc. I ended up creating kind of a world. I guess it’s a form of escapism. Both in terms of the actual creating, which totally absorbs me while working. And in the sense I can escape into the world I’m creating.

I decided to take my “swirly” code art shapes into a 3D world. The shapes became meditation emanations generated by white-robed figures in a desolate-looking place called Emm. More images from Emm are forthcoming, this is the start of a new series.

I started the project two years ago and this image “Emm Square” was the first image I started working on, but it wasn’t finished until now (2023). The first hint of Emm was published in May 2021 and was titled “Desert Swirly”: https://superrare.com/artwork-v2/desert-swirly-24358
