Introverts are prone to being anxious. Extroverts can be anxious, too, but it’s different and a bit more difficult for introverts, since the world isn’t always made for introverts

In a world that demands and thrives on outgoing personalities and constant smiles, even when that’s not realistic, introverts tend to get left behind.

Fitting into a social gathering may seem exhausting for introverts. Constant anxiety and nervousness when engaging with people, especially those who are out of our comfort zone, feels inhibiting. Moreover, one gets misunderstood on many levels by extroverts, and this adds to our frustrations when trying to communicate.

Just like extroverts, introverts need close relationships to thrive. They simply go about socializing differently and just because something’s different doesn’t mean it’s wrong or inferior. The world needs the introvert’s way, too.

It is just easier for introverts to go and do something themselves without having to faff about getting others interested or motivated enough to bother.
