A truly multi-dimensional fractal experience, including a signed 60"x 33,5" metal print, a Virtual Reality experience, an AR experience featuring music by Atrium Carceri & Herbst9, and an AI animated fractal.
A collaboration with NeuralSeed, SIGNAL DETECTION is the first installation of the five-part ABANDONED ALIEN STRUCTURES collection, exploring infinite, multi-dimensional fractal worlds, created to provide an experience of letting the viewers step inside mystical, parallel dimensions.
About SIGNAL DETECTION: Exploring this otherworldly space, I felt a strong sense of trespassing on gigantic, deserted machinery and sensors of alien, unknowable purpose. Spotting these infinitely complex yet graceful and delicate structures far below, I decided to document them at the maximum resolution of my probes using several formats, bringing evidence of my experience out into what we call reality.
Technique: 3D, AR and VR rendered in Mandelbulb 3D.
Edition: the ultra-high resolution metal print is created from an 18K master render, printed on an aluminum substrate, and encased in clear acrylic. The artwork is signed by the artist, and comes with a certificate of ownership featuring QR codes proving the transaction, activating the AR experience providing a 360 view of the artwork with a spectacular soundscape, and linking to the 4K animation file and the 10 K Virtual Reality experience.
The Virtual Reality experience works with all modern VR headsets, and places the owner of the artwork floating inside the fractal space.
