“Tomorrow is Yesterday" Rebecca Rose Digital Collage 1/1 2021 XXIII

Dimensions: 3840 x 2160

“Tomorrow is Yesterday” is here to take you on a surrealistic ride through the future envisioned by the past. Which excursion will you experience? You’ll be beamed down from flying saucers in a veritable playland of weirdness and relaxation. After you adapt to the unearthly, interplanetary setting you’ll breathe easy knowing you’re in a place that allows you to be your unabashed natural self, because we’re all friends here. Embrace it. Enjoy it.

My works are digital collages heavily influenced by vintage visions of the past. Breathing new life and thrusting them with retroactive effect and force into our present day. Turning concepts from long ago into fresh visuals, and bygone icons into modernized scenes reminiscent of science fiction locations from another era. A lingering taste of what once was, and what could still be.

This piece exhibited as a single plane hologram in a 7 foot PORTL hologram unit at the B00N1LAND NFT.NYC party. The piece is compatible and optimized for a PORTL Hologram unit as well as traditional digital displays. The work is accompanied by additional certification on the ethereum blockchain through Verisart.

American Artist Rebecca Rose is an award winning sculptor, painter, and hologram creator whose body of work has been awarded multiple artist grants co-sponsored by The Robert Rauschenberg Foundation, The Andy Warhol Foundation, The Willem de Kooning Foundation, The Andrew Mellon Foundation, The Joan Mitchell Foundation, and Bloomberg Philanthropic.
